Stella heads our Education area and, in this role, shapes both the strategic direction and the operational implementation of the Foundation’s educational work. The Romance studies scholar has been working for the Robert Bosch Stiftung since 2009 and has been a member of its leadership circle since 2013. She is also a member of the shareholder group of the German Children and Youth Foundation.
During her many years at the Robert Bosch Stiftung, Stella has been responsible for various thematic areas and regions. Most recently, she led the Strategic Partnerships and Peace teams within the Global Issues funding area. Previously, she was involved in designing programs and funding lines in various capacities – from student exchange formats to cultural projects and media programs, and dialogue formats for political decision-makers. Her work took her to a wide variety of regions, including Turkey, the USA, and even North Korea.
Before joining us, Stella worked for various cultural institutions in Germany and abroad, where she gained her first international professional and project experience.
Stella studied Languages, Business, and Cultural Studies with a focus on Latin America in Passau, and received her doctorate in Romance Studies in 2015.
