#ShapingTheFuture #Philanthropy #Foresight

Silke is working with us on the sustainability of Robert Bosch Stiftung and the philanthropic sector as a whole. She is currently developing foresight as an innovative method and practice for our foundation. This involves analysing trends and debates in international philanthropy and their relevance for our work. Her central question: How do foundations and philanthropy need to position themselves to remain effective and relevant in the future?
As a representative of Robert Bosch Stiftung, Silke is involved in various philanthropic networks and associations, including the Philea Advisory Committee. Since 2017, she has held various positions within the foundation - first as an advisor to the board, in the Future Issues and Foundation Development team, and since August 2025 in Foresight, Impact & Strategy.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Silke worked for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in London and Stockholm and was a researcher and lecturer at the Chair of Comparative Political Science at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. Her academic background includes political science, communication science and education, studied in Munich and Linköping (Sweden).
