M.E.T.A. - Maximizing Effective Teaching AI - Professional Development and Capacity Building for Teacher Trainers

This training for teacher trainers on AI aims to expand the knowledge and skills of trainers in dealing with artificial intelligence and thus improve the quality of teaching. The pedagogical added value of digitalized and AI-supported teaching methods will be demonstrated and integrated into practice. As well the program focusses on shaping the learning environment. Together with the teacher trainers, we want to work out and test how AI-based tools and applications can be integrated into the classroom to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment. By using AI, students can be individually supported and the learning processes can be optimized. Teacher trainers are empowered to pass on their acquired knowledge and skills to teachers. This enables them to act as multipliers and promote the use of AI in lessons at their school or in their educational environment. The training thus offers the opportunity to have a lasting and positive impact on the educational landscape and to develop the educational added value of using AI in the classroom.

The target group are teacher trainers for SEK I (grades 5/7 to 10) with a focus on lesson development:

• who want to expand their knowledge and skills in dealing with artificial intelligence in order to use this technology effectively in the classroom,
• who want to support and improve the learning process of students 
• and who have the opportunity to carry out teaching trials.
