Union of Justice

Union of Justice   is committed to defending and expanding the human and fundamental rights of racialized people across Europe. As an organization, it also strongly emphasizes the link between social and climate justice, with a focus on environmental racism. Union of Justice has developed a strong network of organizations and activists identifying as BIPOC and working for the rights of racialized communities in the fight for climate justice. With the support of the Robert Bosch Stiftung, Union of Justice unites advocates from ten European countries for an exciting fellowship that not only equips them with critical skills but also allows them to develop and deliver a project of their own that will unearth stories, challenges, and solutions that are often side-lined in mainstream discussions, weaving them into the broader European narrative of climate action. Furthermore, they have been conducting a research project that is the first in-depth piece highlighting the impact the climate crisis has on communities of colour in Western Europe, broken down into country by country. The findings will contribute to the development of policy and legislation that addresses the impact of climate change on these populations.
