Dr. Grzegorz Nocko

Grzegorz is responsible for the Robert Bosch Academy. He holds a PhD in educational science. After almost 20 years in the philanthropic sector, most recently as the head of the Berlin office of the non-profit Hertie Foundation, he joined the Robert Bosch Foundation. He is particularly fascinated by the question of what kind of space our society needs – for intellectual engagement, thoughtful reflection and visionary action. His motivation is to strengthen the Robert Bosch Academy as a place where counter-cyclical, independent thinking is encouraged and where brilliant minds come together. This aligns with his personal motto: "Thinking is also acting."
