Mayors Migration Council

The Mayors Migration Council (MMC) is a mayor-led initiative to help cities of all sizes have their voices and interests reflected in regional and international deliberations on migration, refugee protection and inclusion. The mission is to ensure that global responses to migration and refugee issues are relevant to the challenges experienced in cities and are supportive of local-level policy solutions. The MMC is led by a Leadership Board comprised of the mayors of Amman, Bristol, Freetown, Kampala, Los Angeles, Milan, Montreal, Sao Paulo and Zürich, as well as the former mayor of Athens.
