Diversity @ Robert Bosch Stiftung
Our Approach
In order to develop as a diversity-oriented organization, our approach considers the interplay of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging – in short: DEIB.
Our Understanding of Diversity
For us, diversity is enrichment! Our understanding of diversity includes many dimensions: age, gender, sexual identity or orientation, physical and intellectual abilities, religion and worldviews, ethnic background, social background.
Our Focus Areas
To implement our DEIB strategy, we target four focus areas: Diversity in Our Teams, Culture of Diversity, Working with Diversity, Viewpoint and Structures for Diversity.
Our Target Groups
Our DEIB strategy and measures enable us to take different target groups into account: Internally – employees, managers and the Board of Trustees; Externally – prospective employees, grantees, partners and service providers.
The Diversity Promise of the Robert Bosch Stiftung
We are part of "Charta der Vielfalt"!
This makes us part of the largest employer initiative to promote diversity in companies and institutions in Germany. Just like the 5,000 or so organizations that have signed the charter, we also pursue the goal of a working environment that is free of prejudice and shows equal appreciation to all employees, regardless of age, ethnic origin and nationality, gender and gender identity, physical and mental abilities, religion and ideology, sexual orientation and social background.
