Robert Bosch Stiftung Publishes Annual Report and Unveils New Brand Identity

  • Foundation allocated around €195 million to charitable activities in 2025.
  • Health remained the largest funding area, driven by the expansion of the Bosch Health Campus in Stuttgart.
  • New brand identity and website place partnerships and accessibility at the center.

Berlin/Stuttgart, July 14, 2026 – Robert Bosch Stiftung GmbH has published its 2025 Annual Report. At a time when public debate about the role of civil society organizations—including NGOs, associations, and foundations—is increasingly shaped by polarization, the foundation is deliberately strengthening transparency to build trust in its work.

In 2025, the foundation invested approximately €195 million across its funding areas of Health, Education, and Global Issues. With more than 300 new grants and initiatives launched during the year, the foundation was active in over 30 countries worldwide.

The largest share of funding—around €124 million—was allocated to the field of Health. A key focus was the continued expansion of the Bosch Health Campus (BHC) in Stuttgart, particularly the modernization of the Robert Bosch Hospital.

New Corporate Identity and Website Place Partnerships at the Center

The publication of the annual report also marks an important milestone for the foundation. Introduced in a new accessible corporate design, the report reflects externally what has long guided the foundation’s work: a commitment to partnership. This focus on collaboration is also embodied in the foundation’s new claim, “Together for Impact” (German: “Wir wird Wirkung”).

A central element of the new brand identity is the foundation’s completely redesigned corporate website. Built around a user-centered approach, it provides the foundation for accessible digital communication. The new corporate design was developed in close collaboration with the branding and digital agency Yellow Tree, based in Siegen. The technical relaunch of the website was implemented by Palasthotel, a digital agency from Bielefeld. Throughout the process of creating the most accessible user experience possible, the foundation received extensive guidance from Sozialhelden, a Berlin-based non-profit organization and recognized expert in accessibility.

“Partnership is not an add-on for us, nor simply one method among many. It is a prerequisite for achieving impact in the first place,” said Dr. Bernhard Straub, Managing Director of the Robert Bosch Stiftung. “Impact emerges when different actors bring together their knowledge, reach, and experience—especially when systems are under pressure.”

The major challenges of our time—whether in education, migration, international cooperation, or strengthening democratic institutions—cannot be addressed by any single organization alone. The foundation currently works with nearly 400 active partners worldwide, ranging from local community organizations and NGOs to think tanks, government ministries, and European and international networks.
