Director Climate Change
Tabea leads our climate change team in the Global Issues department. She is a geographer and has been working at the interface between science and politics for over 15 years – initially at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, and then in the think tank sector at Climate Analytics and the Global Solutions Initiative. As an expert in climate adaptation and vulnerability, she was a lead author of the last IPCC report. She is convinced that to overcome the major global challenges, we need synergies that enable inclusive and transformative solutions across topics, decision-making levels and world regions.
