in 2020 and 2021, and as part of the Robert Bosch Stiftung Support Program “Reducing Inequalities through Intersectional Practice”, the Women in Migration Network (WIMN) convened several virtual dialogues to engage and explore with organizations and activists on how to practice a feminist and intersectional approach to migration. These spaces were part of WIMN’s long-term cross-regional and cross-sectoral movement-building strategy and provided valuable perspectives and insights. Standing at the crossroads of gender, migration, race, labor, and climate change, this report analyses how to look at migration from an intersectional perspective, and reflects on the collective knowledge gained through these dialogues and the participating organizations that co-created them.

¿Cómo pueden aplicarse en la práctica los enfoques interseccionales para reducir las desigualdades? Once socios de nuestro programa de financiación "Reducir las desigualdades mediante prácticas interseccionales" abordaron esta cuestión. A partir de sus experiencias y puntos de vista, se ha elaborado un folleto electrónico que aborda la interseccionalidad en diferentes contextos a lo largo de 10 capítulos. A través de entrevistas y contribuciones, ofrece numerosas perspectivas sobre la práctica interseccional de las organizaciones socias y describe las reflexiones, percepciones y demandas que han surgido del programa. Con esta publicación, la fundación Robert Bosch Stiftung pretende hacer visibles los enfoques interseccionales de éxito en el trabajo de cambio social y contribuir a su difusión en la práctica. Está disponible en inglés y se dirige a todas aquellas personas comprometidas con la justicia social en su trabajo.
 

How can intersectional approaches to reducing inequalities be applied in practice? Eleven of our partner organizations from our Support Program „Reducing Inequalities through Intersectional Practice“ addressed this question. Their experiences, suggestions and insights have now been captured in an e-booklet on Intersectionality.  for anyone working to promote social justice. In 10 chapters, it addresses intersectionality in different contexts and offers insights into the intersectional practices of partners and the reflections, insights and demands that emerged from the program. With this publication, the Robert Bosch Stiftung wants to increase visibility for successful intersectional approaches in social change work and contribute to the widespread application of intersectionality in practice.
