Kaleidoscope Politics – New Perspectives
Kaleidoscope Politics – New Perspectives offers former program participants the opportunity to address future-oriented issues across party lines.
About the program
Why are we running the program?
The world is more interdependent than ever before: global challenges such as climate change, migration, intra- and inter-state conflicts and technological change are strongly interconnected and can only be solved through cooperation. Acute problems of unknown magnitude, such as pandemics, also require rapid responses and coordinated decisions. This complexity presents a challenge for political decision-makers: They have to make quick and sometimes radical decisions that are also sustainable and long-term. To do this, it is essential to be aware of the current state of science and innovative solutions for societal challenges. International networks often bring decisive added value. With its program offerings, the Robert Bosch Stiftung promotes the exchange between relevant stakeholders, thus strengthening evidence-based decision-making and cross-party exchange.
What are the goals?
"Kaleidoscope Politics – New Perspectives" promotes
- international and new perspectives on future topics in politics
- the cross-party and international exchange of decision-makers and experts
How does the program work?
To shape the content of the program, the Robert Bosch Stiftung draws on the expertise and networks of the topic teams and strategic partners, as well as the expertise of relevant social decision-makers and opinion leaders:
- Experts from different sectors and disciplines are invited to provide input,
- exchanges with political decision-makers from other countries (e.g. parliamentarians and government representatives) are facilitated,
- practical and innovative solutions are made tangible through visits and excursions to institutions and projects.
